1996 was a memorable year. Tupac “died”, the movie Scream came out (Neve Campbell where art thou?) and I was still an innocent, young virg. But most importantly, The Ghost Town DJ’s song “My Boo” debuted. Who would have known thirteen years later I’d still be holding this tune close to my corazon?? This immortal jam is so good I recently put it on a mix AND the lyrics are even on my Twitter bio! Anyway, If you haven’t noticed by the return of Doc Martens and Melrose Place, the 90’s are back and in full force. Brooklyn’s The American Dream Team knows this and put a new twist on an old favorite with their version of “My Boo.” Do your ears a favor and listen to this track now.
