Grab you favorite foil hat and find a warm fuzzy spot kids we’ve got three new tracks ide like to give my ‘glitch’ love too. Any fellow Korg owner or producers can attest to spending hours playing around with the glitch sounds at one point or another. Unfortunately for me (and my neighbors) it took weeks before i realized i was just making noise rather then music.
First off is a LehtMoJoe remix of Nirvana’s ‘Territorial Pissings‘ off his upcoming album Spaghetti Western. There is something to love about someone who has a niche for remixing 90’s grunge music with an almost industrial electro style. Next on the list is an Udachi dubstep mix on M83 – We Own The Sky. Its progressive, distorted, glitchy and backed up by M83‘s percussion/epic synth/& vocals. My favorite for last – Deadmau5 – I Remember (Caspa Remix), this has to be one of top five favorite dubstep tracks of the year. The heavy bassline is complimented with soft lyrics and a dark glitchy ambience. When working with a Deadmau5 track you’re already off to a good start in my opinion though. Enjoi!
